Passenger rescue means
The complex of emergency evacuation and survival means comprises means for rapid passenger escape from the crashed aircraft and means for passenger survival on water surface and in uninhabited locality.

The THO inflatable escape slide

The escape slide purpose is to support safe evacuation of all passengers from the aircraft in emergency. The escape slide is ready for passenger evacuation in not more than 6 seconds after aircraft door opening. The escape slide can be inflated and erected at the wind of any direction and speed up to 16 m/s.



The ПСН-25/30 inflatable life raft
The life raft is designed for passenger survival in case of aircraft ditching. The all-weather canopy protects victims from the foul weather and broiling sun. Moreover, the life raft has the АЗ-30 special survival kit, which comprises the following: the supply of water and food for 3-10 days, medicines, seawater desalters, devices for getting condensed water, fishing kit, universal knife, etc.


The life raft has the electric lighting, emergency locator light and emergency search radio buoy.
All these allow victims to use the life raft both on water and as a shelter in case of emergency landing in uninhabited locality.


Life preserver

The life preserver provides a floating victim with the only stable position "face upward" in whatever way the victim got into water. It takes the victim not more than 5 seconds to take the stable position; the breathing passages are above the water surface.

Life cradle for a baby

The cradle is lowered onto the water surface with the help of an enclosed tether. A parent can fasten himself to the cradle in order to secure the baby, when the sea is rough, and to top-off the inflatable side tubes of the cradle by mouth in case of pressure loss. The cradle takes a stable position in water and, in case of its overturn, the cradle immediately returns to its initial stable position. The baby lies on a small foam-rubber mattress in the cradle. The cradle canopy is designed to prevent water penetration into the cradle. There are dedicated vents in the canopy, oriented in such a way that waves do not penetrate into the cradle.
