The К-36Д-3,5Э (K-36D-3,5E) Ejection Seat provides for accommodation of the pilot population with the sitting height from 810 to 980 mm. The ejection seat ensures safe emergency escape of a pilot within the range of velocities (V_e) from 0 to 1300-1400 km/h (depending on the type of protective equipment), flight altitudes from 0 to 20,000 m, Mach numbers up to 2.5, including take-off, landing run and "H=0/ V=0" mode.
The ejection seat is used in combination with the set of protective and oxygen equipment of the KKO-15 type. The installation weight of the seat is not more than 103 kg (including the parachute system, survival kit, emergency oxygen system and pyrotechnic charges).
The К-36Д-3,5 (K-36D-3,5) Ejection Seat has the same performance characteristics and is additionally equipped with the reclining back.
