ÀÊB-17UM (ÀÊÁ-17ÓÌ) emergency oxygen unit with chemical oxygen generator for civil aviation passengers
ÀÊÁ-17ÓÌ ÀÊÁ-17ÓÌ

The ÀÊB-17UM (ÀÊÁ-17ÓÌ) emergency oxygen unit is designed to supply oxygen to aircraft passengers in case of emergency depressurization.
The chemical oxygen generator, electrical lock and oxygen masks are mounted inside the unit container. At the aircraft cabin depressurization, the unit cover opens automatically. At that, the masks fall out of the container and the cover presses to the ceiling panel. When putting a mask on, a passenger pulls the chemical oxygen generator pin out to activate the generator.
There is a special device for checking the electrical lock for proper operation, which provides for partial opening of the cover with no mask falling out.
